The Smokiest Single Malt

With a malt measured at 57 parts per million phenol, Ardbeg is the smokiest distillery in the world. For over 200 years we've used Islay peat to give our whiskies a flavour of woodsmoke, cured meats and balancing sweetness.

Our Peaty Paradox

Ardbeg is the smokiest but also has light, fruity flavours in its spirit; these contrasting flavour profiles are known the 'Peaty Paradox'. Ardbeg's balance comes from the purifier on our Spirit Still, giving more sweetness to every dram.
