Winemaking notes
A new approach to Vodka making, focused on Terroir. For the Single Estate Rye series we use Rye from two small farms; one in Smogory in Poland's West, and one in Bartezek in Poland's North. Taste the difference between these two unique regions.
Viticultural notes
The Baltic Sea to the north creates a long snowy and cold winter, which stresses the rye, developing unique flavor potential. The terrain is dotted with 2000 lakes and post-glacial clay-type soil, which is rich in phosphorus and potassium and which resists the region’s heavy rain and snowfall. The long winter and particular soils yield a fresh, delicate and elegant vodka, more reminiscent of the terroir’s calm lakes than harsh climate.
Tasting notes
Bright, fragrant with notes of freshly cut rye grain, grass and a hint of almond. Medium bodied and delicate with notes of spearmint, fresh hay and a hint of biscuit. Clean and crisp with persistent notes of menthol, fresh grass and rye bread.
