Brut Rose

Two hundred years ago, in 1818, Madame Clicquot created the very first blended rosé in the Champagne region. She broke with the accepted practice of using an elderberry-based preparation to color the wine and instead blended some of her fine Bouzy red wine with her classic champagne. The result was the first blended rosé, the Veuve Clicquot Rosé. Once more, Madame Clicquot was leading the way and changing the rules. And she could only do that thanks to the exceptional quality of her red wines, coming from sought-after vineyards. The secret was, and is, in the blend.

The wine has a luminous color with attractive pink glints. The nose is generous and elegant, with initial aromas of fresh red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes (almond, apricot and brioche).
